He appeared very protective of his younger sister Christie McCawley, when she began dancing with Alak Tarr. He started a fight with the young Castithan before being called off by his younger brother. He leaves to meet with Ben in the woods but is betrayed and killed. It seems that he was involved with Mayor Nicky's search for the Kaziri.
